  • [Audio] If someone says that you can't get everyone to agree on this or any one point of view, how do you reply?

     

     

    Most people don't know how their government works. Most people have no idea how their telephone works, or their washing machine, or their electric light. So you don't need everybody to know everything; you need enough people that can maintain the social operation. You don't need everybody to be sympathetic. That doesn't take the knowledge of everybody to understand sociology but the more people that do, the better the nation. The better informed people are, the better the relationships. To the degree that people do not understand their culture, you have threatening situations.
