No I didn't work with Humphrey much because he was not familiar with experimental work of that kind and it would take too long to get the point across. Politicians generally know very little about human behaviour or social history. They know what the history books tell them but they don't really understand the effects of environment upon behaviour.
We once had a politician who came to the tour here. He was a Republican and I was astonished as to how little he knew and how immature he seemed to be.
You have to find out yourselves, try talking to politicians. If they go for Politics that ought to tell you a lot about them. The very fact that they want to be a President or a Congressman tells you that they have a low self-sufficiency and want public recognition for the position that they hold, not for what they do.
