I wanted them to have a deep appreciation for Science, not to argue with each other and to learn how to handle differences in point of view without getting angry. Understanding that another person will draw different conclusions due to their different background. They also learned to ask people what certain words meant to them to understand how they interpreted the world they live in. And that told me what they needed in order to become more accurate in their predictability. All humans really see predictability. So when a man spanks his child, he hopes that the child will be obedient to his commands and if they are not obedient he spanks them more, which is not the answer. He doesn't even know what to look for. With some exposure to Psychology, it gives you better tools than the tools you have without training.
